My mom can only lift 12 lbs doing bicep curls, but our plastic pallets – that’s a different story. Pallet Load Capacities indicate or measure the absolute maximum level of weight a pallet can support safely. There are three primary types of Pallet Load capacities, Static Load Capacity, Dynamic Load Capacity, and Load Capacity in Racking Situations. Static Load capacity reflects the weight a pallet can sustain in an immobile state on a flat or floor level surface. Dynamic Load Capacities measure the weight capacity of plastic pallets while they are being transported via forklift. Load Capacity in Racking Situations refers to the acceptable weight capacity of a pallet when supported only by the outside ends of the bottom of the pallet. Keep these simple units of weight standardization in mind when choosing the plastic pallet that works best for you!
